Week 231-3 “Superboy”

The last three weeks have been very quiet and Jill is showing no improvement in her knees and is finding walking with the walking frame difficult and painful. However with her will and determination she still wants to be in the gym each day.  There are days when I would like her to stop but she will never do that. We had our last speech therapy for this year. Rebecca our therapist is of to Canada for a holiday over Christmas. We have purchased a recordable book for Riley, Jill and I are taking it in turn to record the stories in it. Rebecca was impressed with the book and Jill’s speech that I had recorded. We are finally on the home nurse list which means that if we have catheter problems any day of the week we can call. Week ends and evenings are up to me. Jill’s physio will be for the last time before Christmas and we are supposed to get a new walking frame to replace the hired one.

Riley is 6 months old and certainly is becoming a real little boy – our super boy.

It is still great to see him on Skype. So Jill gets excited when the Skype rings on our computer.

I have stripped our caravan and cleaned it with the hope that someone comes along and buys it. The interest so far has been minimal which include some fake calls offering excessive amounts for the van. I will put it onto EBay.

Another mile stone for Allison – Happy birth day on the 11th

Michael arrived home with Gus for the weekend and we are both having our hair cut.  Jill will also have her hair coloured. I went up the street to buy a tube of hair dye and the girl asked me what colour I wanted to dye my hair.

We have had an email from India. It was from a son of a MSA sufferer who is interested in Stem Cell  , followed up by a phone call and he later emailed me the newspaper article on the stem cell therapy I mentioned last Blog.

Jill is sitting having a coffee while she is waiting for the colour to take. So I had better get this finished

See you soon on the net.
