Jill’s aunty Jean has spent the afternoon with her. As I took Jean home she said the difference was amazing. She had spoken to Jill over a three hour period and Jill had walked unaided into the kitchen and prepared a coffee. She said she could not remember the last time they had had such a conversation. This is what I need to hear to keep my momentum going forward.
We have ordered the exercise steps, parallel bars, the stretch and bend bars and a balance board today. I hope they will be here late next week. We also organised the split air conditioner for the room, to be installed on Tuesday next week. Clean up and finish painting over the weekend.
This afternoon when I was home for lunch, we received a surprise Skype phone call from China. Like usual it was difficult to converse but when there are 4 million other people on line what can you expect? Back to the call – It was one of our friends from Nanshan – Bill Pugh (Bill is there from Queensland with his wife Babs who has had a complete course of stem cells and is still having rehab) – the only thing I could get from Bill was that he was going to have a course of Stem Cell treatments- then we lost contact. i will have a go at contacting Bill tomorrow.It was great to see and hear from one of the great friends we had made in China
I am off to the rehab department of Wangaratta Hospital to look at their equipment to see what we can use in the short term. Fingers crossed.
