Week 88 – Xango

After an early morning call on Monday the electrician finally arrived and following a discussion on what we required they were under way. Late in the afternoon we were able to try out the new power points and relocated VOIP phone. Everything except the phone worked and on checking the connection – one wire was repositioned and we were connected. We could hardly wait until after tea and it was dark so we could turn on the water feature and the spot lights.

This week has had its problems – toilet blocked again – so I became a plumber at midnight and set about unblocking the toilet. The washing machine (aged 30 years) has been leaking on full load setting but now leaks on all settings. A visit to Harvey Normans and we now have a new front loading washing machine. We can hardly believe how dry it spins the washing and how quiet it is. I smoked some fish in the cobb for dinner and forgot about the washing on the line. When I went to bring it in every thing had a smell of Iron Bark so back to the washing machine

There have been no visits to doctors, chiropractors or physios so we have just continued with the various exercises that are required. On Wednesday I decided to clean up our filing cabinet and I came across a brochure about Xango – mangosteen – a fruit juice drink and after reading it we decided to give it a go. We contacted the local distributor and Jill commenced taking it. She will trial it over the next three months. If you want to know more about it check out the following Webb site  www.dinsdale.gomangosteen.com .

Thursday saw the arrival of St Valentine – with some red roses – and lots of smiles from Jill. She could hardly believe it because over some 40 years I have told her I don’t believe in the event – mainly because it had no effects on sales at the pool shop. The look on Jill’s face would make me believe in anything.

Jill was watching TV and suddenly we lost all the channels – only for a few minutes so no complaints – the generator must have clicked in.

Mum had a surprise for me when I visited on Friday – she had her photo in the local newspaper. They are building a new garden at St Catherine’s and mum happened to be there looking when the photographer arrived. She also told me our neighbour Peter was there to sing to the residents – had a great audience and she thinks he is great.

Well it’s about bedtime, Jessie and Jake have just made an appearance, so see you next week on the net.
