Week 76 – New Government

We all went to bed with Australia under a new Government – Labour won and Kevin 07 Rudd is our new Prime Minister. It has been a long battle and it will be a pleasure not to be bombarded by political adds. John Howard will have to go down as one of the greatest Prime Ministers Australia has ever had and only time will tell us about Labour and Kevin 07.We have again had a very hot week – Wednesday was 39C and our swimming pool was up to 33C thanks to the solar heating. With the heat and flies walking at the netball courts has been off again this week. We have been using that Crazy Massage machine, getting the settings right for Jill. Her back is still a bit sore after her fall.We have been to Allison & Chris’s in Bendigo this week- left here on Thursday afternoon and came back Saturday. We had the car serviced on Friday. This was the first service and was a bit overdue. It has been six months but only 6000k. It was great to have somebody else cook the meals – Thanks Allison. We don’t always say it but we do appreciate it. I don’t make life easy, when we are away from our own environment I become over protective of Jill – worrying about her falling and this makes her upset saying “How do I learn to do things for myself if you don’t let me”. Trips away are not as happy as they should be. I really have to be more sensitive and not over powering.

Allison and Chris’s garden is amazing as it is almost six months since we have been to Bendigo and the plants have grown and the flowers are fantastic. See the photos below.

We had left Jake at the Kennels at Glen Rowan – I am not certain how much he likes being left but he certainly likes being picked up. Jess was left at home and Pat came in and fed her and also brought mum (Gwen) into visit her cat.

Last week we recieveded an email from Christine (Ataxia sufferer) about Stem cells and China. It was an interview abou Hal Burrows. Those who have followed our Blogg site since China will remember our contact with Hal. The following site is certainly worth having a look at .   www.charleston.net: The road to China

This week we have to prepare for the caravan trip to Echuca and I need to take a more proactive approach to make this trip enjoyable for Jill and not be over bearing. We will be away until the 12th of December. The animals will certainly miss us.

We will see you on the net next week
