Week 64 – Where were you – when?

Just finished dinner and believe it or not Jill is reading her book – has been doing so all day. The book is Hit by Tara Moss – a murder mystery. It is great to see her reading as she used to read all the time, in fact I have seen her reading several books at the same time.

We were supposed to be at Chris and Nicole’s for the weekend but that mysterious UTI infection has been lurking around again – so we must get on top of it. We have been a little restricted again but Jill has made every effort to do the exercises and a couple of walks at the netball courts. Beth set a couple of goals for Jill to achieve – so they have to be done this week before she returns on Friday.

Jill has been on Hytrin- Terazosin for about 10 days – so we went for a blood pressure check, every thing was OK – 125/90 – standing and sitting. Nothing else is showing up.

Tuesday night we went out side to see the eclipse of the moon and I tried to take some photos – I really need a better camera for that type of photography. See my results below. By the time it comes around next I will have upgraded my camera.

We had a phone call from Jeannette and Gavin (Oz Travellers) the other day. They had just arrived at Kalgoorlie WA. It was good to hear from them. I suggested a couple of things to see – the Super Pit and the Red Light Street. Only staying over night and heading off across the Nullarbor – Free camping on the way. How I wish we were with them.

We are just watching the film about the last days of Princess Diana – and you often think where you were on that day – well it was Saturday -10 years ago and we had driven across to Allison’s for Fathers Day. It reminded me of another event – The assassination of President John F Kennedy – Jill and I were at the Melbourne Teacher’s College Graduation Ball. And that’s what we woke up to the next morning – November 22 1963.

It’s amazing how you remember these things.

The weather has been beautiful – plenty of sunshine but NO RAIN – where the hell have you gone.

Again I am writing this early tonight – No Jess yet and Jake is asleep on his bed.

See you next week on the net.
