Week 29 – Have a great New Year -2007

Christmas has passed and we are about to head into 2007

We had an eventful Christmas – as I said last week we were heading to Allison’s in Bendigo. We took Jake to the kennels and packed all the presents into the car on Sunday. Jill wasn’t feeling the best so we decided to wait until Christmas Day. Next morning, Jill still not 100% so we decided to ring Allison and give her the bad news. Jill was pretty upset.

To our surprise the kids all turned up on Boxing Day for a Christmas Lunch- so this improved the emotional feelings – as this would have been the first Christmas we had not been together as a family for 37 years.

We have continued the exercises in the pool and Jillian’s Gym as well as alternating with going to the baskets ball courts for some endurance type exercise. Jill has improved with the endurance as she is not as tired after the long walks.

We are going to change the wheelie walker to one with hand breaks, to give Jill a bit more control over it. We will put the current one on EBay and see if we can sell it. This will be our first attempt to sell anything on the net. We have purchased before – coffee machine and Michael’s Christmas present

Chris and Nicole stayed for a few days; this was great as it gave Jill some different company. I appreciated them as Nicole prepared some meals and gave Jill a break from my meals.

As I mentioned Rachel and her husband Gary were off to China – I now have Rachel’s Blog site ( http://www.stemcellschina.com/blogs/Rachel/ ),she had her first stem cell injection on Friday and we wish her well.

Well it’s getting late and I am being encouraged to go to bed.

We hope that you all have a great New Year and that 2007 brings us all a fantastic time.

Irish Toast: In the New Year, may your right hand always be stretched out in friendship, never in want.

See you on the net next week.
