Week 28 – Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to all of you out there on the net. Once again we would like to thank every body for their wishes and encouragement over the past six months.

Another week has passed, Jill has continued to improve and is able to do more exercise or spend more time doing her exercises. The pool has been great as it makes it much easier for her to do the normal exercises she would normally do on dry land. Even walking unaided in the pool has become possible

Beth took us to the netball courts on Friday morning. She had Jill use the various types of equipment to help practice walking. The wheelie walker and the crutches over a considerable distance where the go. Jill is anxious to use the single crutch but I think that will require a lot more practice. Beth had Jill walk (aided) some 4-5 hundred meters. Jill has not walked that distance for about nine weeks. The only problem is that it has taken Jill a full day to recover. So Saturday has become our rest day this week.

We are preparing to go over to Bendigo to celebrate Christmas with Allison & Chris. Michael and his dog Gus will also be there for Christmas. Chris and Nicole have gone to Peterborough and we will see them after Christmas.

The rest of the Keenan / Rooks clan are of to Albury to have their Christmas with Kieran and Louise. Gwen (Mum) has been celebrating Christmas and her Birthday at St Catherine’s and even got to sit on Santa’s Knee.

It’s getting late so we will see you next week on the net.
