This has been an eventful week – Bluewave has been sold and we are now officially retired. We received a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a magnificent photo album to collect and display out photos of our time at Bluewave from the staff. Wednesday night was the best sleep we have had for some time. Thursday was the beginning of our new life.
The annoying news was from the hospital when they rescheduled Jill’s knee injection from Thursday to next Tuesday (fingers crossed) . We had a reply from Jon Faine (ABC) and looks like we may be interviewed on Monday about 9 am. The Vector Fitness Company advised us that some of out equipment had been dispatched on Thursday. Medical Equipment Services rang us with the price for the Vocastim machine and it will be here in about 10 days. Grace confirmed the exercise chairs so everything is progressing.
Saturday was exciting as the rehab steps and the parallel bars arrived. The carrier backed up the drive and here is this huge pallet. Fortunately the truck had a hydraulic tail gate and a pallet truck to place the steps in its position. The amount of packaging material was unbelievable and the whole back of the Jeep is full and will need a visit to the tip tomorrow. The parallel bars are also in place and the floor is located as well as the foot beam. We will organise some carpet for the floor next week. The treadmill and bike are now in the gym as well.
Late this afternoon Jill gave every thing the official try out and gave it all the thumbs up. We will both be out there early tomorrow morning to exercise and get fit.

The gym looks fantastic, leaves the rehab departments in Australia by far. That smile looks genuine on the parallel bars, Mum, now you can get back to some serious rehabilitation and get those little chinese soldiers(stem cells) working. They’ve had a break, just wait till the chairs arrive from China, and the Vocastim from Germany!!!!
It’s all forward and positive from here for you both, a new start to your life and retirement to enjoy!

The Gym Looks very professional , full of light and colour . jill you look so fit and well in the photos . Glad to see you will be using the Gym each day Mac. We are off to Echuca , Swanhill and Mildura tomorrow for a week , just to have a break.
