Week 57 – Oz travelers send more photos

The Cats are on a roll – 10 in row and sit clear on top of the ladder. I don’t often get the chance to celebrate.
We have had a pretty good week – Jill has been feeling a bit better and has been out in Gym each day doing most of the exercises including the ones Beth gave her last week. We were supposed to go to Jill’s neurologist on Thursday – but decided early in the week to postpone it for a month. About a week ago I saw a UTI treatment on the net. It was a US company and I contacted them and after talking to them ordered a course of their capsules for Jill. Amazingly 8 days latter the carton arrives. Jill commenced the course on Friday morning so our fingers are crossed. I mentioned several weeks ago about the Lee Silverman Speech therapy that Jill was going to try. I rang the therapist on Monday and was able to get an appointment for early in August. She is going to come to Hogan Street to do an appraisal on Jill and to work out the approach that is needed.I got a suprise the other day when Jill appeared using the two arthritic crutches, she hasen’t used them for a couple on months – but is handling them very well. She is doing the circuit – Kitchen, entrance , lounge, dining room and back to the kitchen , with me a step behind at least untill she gets a bit more confident.
We have had a few visitors which is great as it gives Jill somebody else to see and talk to. First it was Aunty Jean and Joan, Keiran and Louise on Friday and Keiran brought Mum to visit and see Jess. Then today we had Pat, Erin and Mum.
Chris and Nicole are settling into their new home and their driveway way completed this week. Chris’s mate Scott and Alicia are the first ones to get to stay in the new home.
We had a phone call from Allison & Chris this evening. They are on their way home from Hervey Bay and are staying in Dubbo over night. They will be home mid afternoon to morrow.
We have at last had an email from the Oz travellers and some more photos. Gavin hasn’t been to well. He has come down with Bell’s palsy – but is feeling a little better.
Jess and Jake have appeared again so must be bed time – see you next week on the net
