week 35 – FOR SALE – SOLD

I just checked Chris and Nicole’s Blog site and believe it on not there is only 20 days 22 hours and 9 minutes until they are husband and wife. I am starting to feel the excitement here in Wangaratta. Their house is looking more like a home with the cupboards in position – click on the link and have a look.

Jill had her fitting and measurements taken for the new outfit and she can’t wait until Helen comes back and we see the changes. Helen & Jean arrived at 10.30am on Friday; Jill hadn’t slept much and was ready to put on the outfit about half an hour before they arrived. To my surprise Helen said she would bring it back early next week.

We have continued with Jill’s exercises and found a couple of sore spots from the fall last Thursday, a bruise on Jill’s back and a couple of sore ribs. These have made some of the exercise difficult but with Jill’s determination and her goal in mind she keeps going. The swimming pool has been missed. Hopefully when the stitches come out on Tuesday we will be able to get back into the water. We have to change our walk time from the evening to early afternoon as the netball courts are being used for practice in the evening. I am hoping that the weather cools down a bit and it becomes more comfortable.

The FOR SALE sign when up on Mum’s home on Thursday. Our real estate agent rang us with some great news this afternoon. They had several interested parties go through the house and one had come back with an offer for exactly what we had decided on. The contract is to be signed next week – on a sixty day contract. So I guess its fingers crossed that every thing goes ahead.

See you next week on the net

    stemcellschina.comHey Mac and Jill,

I am so sorry about Jill’s accident but I have full faith in her to – somehow I can not think of the word in English – but jianchi in Chinese which means something like endure, persist, carry on strongly.

A couple things: a) I have had an e-mail from Ken Crowter about Val and I put it below. Please note that she never did get rid of all of her cramps after the treatment so I think it is safe to say that there has not been any regression since the treatment and 2) I thought I would bring to your attention Christine – who had some very good results for her SCA2 treatment at Nanshan – has put up a blog after she has returned home. I think it may be someone you would like to be in touch with. You can see it at http://www.stemcellschina.com/blogs/ChristineGary

    Hi Jon,

Val is doing quite well. She does her exercises every day. It’s hard for her to get out walking in the winter. We have had cold, windy and snowy weather. Her writing continues to improve and she is sleeping very well. Her energy level is up. She has a few cramps, but not as severe or frequent as before. She has been playing solitaire to help with her fine motor skills. We have been checking the web sites and blogs to keep up with old and new patients and the happening at the hospital. We hope things continue to go well there. Say hi to everyone for us or pass this email along.

    Thanks,

    Ken
